All of our high quality vitamins and supplements are produced in strict accordance with required drug GMPs for OTC Drug manufacturing standards. These standards are higher than the standards used for vitamins and supplements used by “food” manufacturers.
Additional products will be added regularly every month.
Please Note: All of the above products are considered “special order” items and, as such, are only sold to approved medical facilities and/or approved pharmaceutical importers.
Optimal Pharma maintains rigid standards for both our raw materials and our production.
The Optimal Pharma facility is fully licensed and inspected by the US FDA and the California FDA on a regular basis.
Optimal Pharma has a licensed pharmacist as well as several chemists / consultants on staff.
These rigid standards ensure that our production, bottling, and packaging methods are highly reliable, and that our product maintains an overall high consistency.
Make Sure to Check the Label.
Optimal Pharma manufactures all of its own brands. If you see the terms “distributed by”, “formulated for”, “manufactured for”, “produced exclusively for”, or another similar wording, it’s likely that the product has been manufactured by another company, and not by the company whose name is on the label.
This does not necessarily mean the product is deficient. However, it does mean that since a distributor can purchase products from any source for manufacturer, it is critical to have excellent distributor in order to ensure your end-product is of the highest quality.
QUESTIONS TO ASK YOUR SUPPLIER
1. Is their manufacturing license classified for drug products or only for food processing?
2. Do they have liability insurance for the products that they produce?
3. Does their manufacturing facility have any foreign registrations in place?
4. Do they have any foreign registrations in place for any of their specific products?
5. Have they applied for, or do they hold, a US NDA or a NDA?
Be aware that none of the questions above can determine the quality and reliability of any products a manufacturer produces. A “yes” or affirmative answer would show their ability to produce a quality product. Also, every manufacturer should have written proof of licensing and registration, and that proof should be available at all times for distributors and wholesalers.
Drug manufacturing licenses require GMP’s that are much stricter than that of a food processing license. A manufacturer holding liability insurance is an indication that problems with claims in the past are either low or nonexistent. Furthermore, when a manufacturer has foreign registrations for their facilities and products, it is indicative of past successful inspections, product testing and master file reviews.
Lastly, NDA and a NDA applications to the US federal FDA require a strict FDA inspection that follows CGMP standards for production and product testing, as well as numerous certifications, in order to be approved.
